Alpha Prime — In a swift response to the announced kidnapping of Chancellor Kirstyn Issac, the President Ishvara of the Confederate Republic of Tiranus made a Union-wide address.

We have just received news of the kidnapping of the Chancellor by the Venom'ratil, a terrorist organization we had thought destroyed in the Race War. This does not have, and never has had, the backing of the Tirani government or the Kyphani faith. These people are radicals and religious fanatics who are highly dangerous and capable of anything. It is our hope that the Chancellor is still alive, and will be returned safely to us. To aid in the mounting search and investigation efforts are Trackers from the Venterran tribe of the Stormcalmers, whom I have given full permission to use their mental abilities to the fullest while within Tiranus space. I know that this will set set well with the majority of the Kyphan population, but at this time, we have little choice. Acting elsewhere in the search are the Intelligence services of the Venterran Confederacy, Tiranus, Macaian Empire, and several other law enforcement agencies of the Anipax Union and Seven Nations, with the promise of support from the Silgolth Order and its Rangers.

Now, I speak to the members of the Venom'ratil. Hear this, and hear it well. We will not tollorate these actions on the part of a horribly misguided few who believe that are doing the will of the Kyphani and thier people. Return the Chancellor now, and the consequences will not be as severe if you persist to deny the True Path and the laws of this Union.

That was all President Ishvara would say, refusing to comment further to the SIP. At this time, a sizeable bulk of resources of the Union and Tiranus are being poured into the investigation and search effort,
with the Tirani being the most zealous in their participation.
