1986 at the age of 56, Kenneth Hanson undertook a series of 12 treks
across the Great Himalaya and many of these were KE trips, such asThe
Snow Lake and the Hispar La. He has produced an extraordinary black and white photographic book of
his travels. Last month, he dropped into the KE office to present us
with a copy, and its beauty took us by surprise. This magnificent
book will appeal not only to photographers, but also to anyone who
