Most Manufacturers only receive complaints from customers that are dissatisfied, be they legitimate or not, but seldom hear from satisfied customers.
I am one in the latter category. I have been using a LA-200 for 5 years, at full output, almost daily for at least 2 hours per day. I can count the times I have re-tuned it during that time, on two hands, . You tune it and forget it. Just monitor the output at the beginning of each session. I had an occasion to get into the unit to adjust the range of the output tuning mechanism, to center the indicator range. I marveled at the construction, it could easily pass Military specifications. It employs Mil. quality insulated wiring, neatly cabled. I was a Radio Technician in the US Navy during WW2, and a Ham since 1938, when we had to build our own, so I'm not usually this impressed with ham radio equipment.

We (The NC1I VHF Contest Group) have been using Lunar-Link amps. with PS-70 power supplies on 144, 222, and 432 for five years, without a single failure.
These amplifiers and power supplies are very reasonable in size making them ideal for our portable contest operation. They also tolerate the poor regulation from our portable generators just fine.
The LA series of amps are true workhorses.
