Lunar-Link Systems now offers an updated HV power supply filter / rectifier circuit board.
The PCB is designed for a 7 KV PIV bridge rectifier using a string of 1N5408 diodes
(28 - 3A diodes) and a filter capacitor bank using standard Snap-Lock 0.4" spacing solder terminal electrolytic capacitors. The PCB also has
provision up to 9 filter capacitors and bleeder / equalizer resistors and a B- ground isolation resistor with
protection diode.
The board is 6" wide by 8" long, is made from G10 (FR4) glass epoxy and has a solder
mask and silk screen labeling.
A large unmasked ground plane is provided arounnd the edge of the bottom side.
