Colletts for 2C39 / 7289 / 7211family tubes. 5 new silver plated anode collets, 1 unplated anode, 3 unplated grid, 2 unplated cathode. They are were probably made by Instrument Specialties. $ 50 for all 10 collets.
Tube collection. 28 - 2C39 family planar triodes. They are assorted 7289,3CX100A5, 2C39B, etc, however they are pretty much the same tube, just different manufacturers used different numbers. They are, Eimac, GE, Amperex, Machlett, Motoroloa. About half of them are pulls out of the old roadside call boxes. Those tubes have been tested good and matched, The other tubes are assorted and have not been tested. I will not sell these tubes until all the 1296 cavities have been sold. Buying preference goes to whomever buys the 1296 cavities. I prefer to sell all the tubes as a lot, but I may consider splitting the lot in half. $100 for the lot, that's only $3.57 per tube !
Miltary surplus assembly for 2 x 2C39 / 7289family tubes. I stole the heater center pins and a cathode collet for another project. Remaining are 2 anode collets, 2 grid collets, 1 cathode collet plus all the metalwork that you may be able to use to recreate the tube base contacts. As is $15.
Planar triodes. 8 x 7211 family tubes. For the more adventerous, these tubes have 50% more cathode area and 2.5 times the voltage rating of 2C39 / 7289 family tubes.
They can make a lot more power, but their higher capacitance limits which amplifiers they'll work in Includes 2 - Eimac - 7211, 1 - Eimac 8664, 3 - Eimac 8565 & 2 Motorola 197T119A01 with clamp on radiator, one of which has the raditor removed. Sold as is $30 for all 8 tubes. Certainly worth a chance for only $3.75 a tube.
