The Drydocker's Picture Page

I hope to post YOUR pictures to this page. Eventually we'll have enough to create separate pages for each dock. There is no rhyme nor reason for the order of the pictures, they are posted as I get them. Currently only four submarine docks remain and soon there won't be any. We need to preserve the history of these important, but largely ignored, Naval Auxiliaries. Any input you may have will be greatly appreciated.

WWII Drydock ARD-6

Picture of the WWII Drydock, ARD-6, ballasting down to undock a Fleet Diesel Boat. The wood you see floating in the dock was more than likely the spur shores that were used to keep the diesel boats from tipping over when docked.
