Information about wholesale and catalog requests by shop owners

Thank you for your interest in Waaban Aki Crafting. My company is a sole proprietorship now consisting of one individual. My workshop is small and my sales are primarily through the Internet. I don't have a different price structure for wholesale, and strive to keep my prices as low as possible as many of the people that buy from me are school teachers or powwow dancers.

Generally I make all of my crafts 'to order', and are able to fill orders in a timely manner, with delivery time usually between 4 - 6 weeks, depending on the size of the order. I'm happy to work with custom designs and colors, but as I am the sole individual creating these crafts, please keep in mind the larger the order the longer it takes me to complete it. In ordering from me for resale purposes, also bear in mind that a lot of the natural materials that I work with are hard to come by, or seasonal in nature, so if you are interested in large volume requests (ie: five or more of any item), please inquire first with the type and number of items you might require.

I welcome questions about any of my products, please feel free to email me. I am not Native American, with my professional training in Anthropology. I'm currently splitting my time between my craft creations and doing archaeological cultural preservation fieldwork. Because I am non-Native, according to the U.S. Indian Arts and Crafts Act, the items I make can not be labeled as "Native American made". You can read more about the background of Waaban Aki Crafting on my web at http://home.cshore.com/waaban and more about me on my educational website, NativeTech at http://nativetech.org

All of the natural materials I use in my crafts and projects are legally obtained and salable in Connecticut, USA, in shipping to other states or Canada, it is the customer's responsibility to be aware of any importation /customs restrictions. My crafts and toys, because they contain small parts and use natural plant and animal products, are not suitable for young children or children without adult supervision.

My entire catalog with current prices can be seen on the Internet starting at http://home.cshore.com/waaban but If you would like me to mail you a copy of my loose-leaf 10 page, black & white catalog, please send me $2.00 ($4 to Canada) to cover printing and mailing costs. I also have a new full color comb bound version of my catalog available for $5.00 ($7 to Canada).
